How pricing works
There's no fixed rate card, because no two projects need the same amount of work — a four-track demo and a fully arranged, twelve-song album aren't the same job. Every quote is put together after I've actually heard your material and understand what you're trying to make.
What a quote is based on:
- —Number of songs and their length
- —How much arrangement or production is needed vs. mixing only
- —Track count and session complexity
- —Whether mastering is bundled in
- —Your timeline
Quotes are given per song or per project, not per hour, so you know the cost before work starts. A reasonable round of revisions is built into every quote — the goal is a record you're genuinely happy with, not a clock running against you.

Frequently asked
How much does mixing or mastering cost?+
It depends on the song — track count, complexity and how much work is needed. Every project gets a flat quote after I've heard the material, so there are no surprises once work starts.
Do you work with artists outside Ontario?+
Yes — most mixing and mastering work happens remotely over file transfer, regardless of where you're based. In-person sessions are available for artists near the studio in Ontario.
What files do you need from me?+
For mixing, individual stems or session tracks at the highest quality you have (usually 24-bit WAV). For mastering-only, a finished stereo mix, ideally with a bit of headroom before any limiting.
How long does a typical project take?+
A single mix usually takes about a week including a revision pass; mastering is quicker. Full production projects are scoped individually since arrangement and recording take longer than mixing alone.
Do you master for Spotify and other streaming platforms?+
Yes — masters are built around current streaming loudness and true-peak targets, and checked against how they'll actually translate on phone speakers, earbuds and studio monitors, not just one reference system.
How many revisions are included?+
A reasonable revision round is included in every quote. The goal is a record you're happy with — if something needs more attention than expected, we'll talk about it before any extra cost.
